
Cake Republic is a home-based bakery founded and run by
Julie-Ann McCarthy, a passionate baker who previously
worked as a bakery manager in a supermarket and has now
ventured off on her own.
She would bake for her family for all different occasions, and was
encouraged by all of her family to take it a step further.
Even though she has worked in the bakery for many years,
this is not where her love for baking began. From a young age,
her Mum, Aunties, and Grandma would bake delicious goodies
for Birthdays and Christmas (especially Christmas!!) and she
would help in the kitchen.
Our specialty is bespoke cakes and desserts to suit
almost any dietary requirement. We have made it our
mission to accommodate everyone ~ with gluten-free,
sugar-free, dairy-free, and vegan options.
We have been up and running for 6 years and take great pride
in improving upon your favourite cakes and desserts in new and creative ways.
